” s up everyone welcome back to team can oh. What here we are again with with another incredible unboxing today. We re gonna be unboxing for you latif owl total skillet set. Which is a set of three reported at costco.
Once again it was about forty fifty dollars. Very excited to test them out fifa has been like the go to when it comes down to cookware and nonstick so i cannot wait to put it to the test. I don t know anything about these pens. I m just going is blindfolded straight in and it s like not the cook person.
But here we go let s see what s inside alright. So here. We have a skillet number one it s pretty nice has the at the bottom two little ridges before i guess evenly this year really heat so that when you re in a cooking the heat is evenly distributed yeah so this is um skillet number two this is the medium medium pan as you can see and see the ridges in the back. What do you think about the them having their t fal brand name on it i think.
It s a little scary because i feel like this red thing is gonna no it s gonna gonna pleading oh yeah i know i don t like that i don t know about this rhett. The inside. I mean. It s already enough maybe they could have like edged it in like at the bottom.
But that red thing makes me think like i m gonna be eating red paint. Yeah. That s one thing that i m not really happy with finally we got the smallish piece. It s a small one and it looks kind of nice and sturdy it s like four eggs like peanuts a fry single leg or something like that that looks pretty good alright.
So here they are the three t file sizes. So i know we talked a little bit about this red dot that s in the middle of it. But actually actually there is a purpose for the dot. So when you re cooking your meals and you re preheating.
The pot you have to wait until. The bright red turns into like a darker red gura and that is the optimal time start cooking your meal. Very interesting i mean this i am still afraid that it ll bleed over. But the fact that is telling me that that s the perfect temperature for me to stop cooking my meals.
That s a plus. It must have tested out quite a bit the other thing that i like about it it s it s very nice and round. It s a very thick. It has a nice thickness to the pan.
It has a nice dirtiness you feel that in the handle. Yeah. Let me see not now right now mentioning about the handle this i have to double check to see if it s actually oven safe. This is not this does not look like it s something that has all been saved so the handle is on the shape of 350 degrees okay so this is a titanium nons nonstick scratch resistant interior.
So far this thing might scratch put some metal surfaces on it i mean obviously not so much wood. We re gonna yeah. The idea is that you re supposed to be able to use car utensils. Such as metal and not scratch the items but we re about to find out because to be 100 honest.
I don t believe a lot of the hype. So we have a few items that we re gonna put it to the test just to see how well these items cook let s get to test that out as you can tell we re gonna put them on you slightly wash them up. But this lines are supposed to disappear when they disappeared they ll be ready to start cooking. So we re gonna put that to the test.
We re gonna test this out. Without any oil or butter correct design effects and they re supposed to work. So. It s been a few minutes.
And we re waiting for the lies to disappear. As you can see it s starting to get a little darker. Which is what we rated yeah. So we get a little bit more and then we should be ready to go they recommend to put it in medium heat.
And although. They say that we should be using some type of grease you now has insisted that we don t do that so finally finally finally the little dots have disappeared yep you see that no dots and little dots in the middle. So cummings upon the pen is ready ready to go so are you sure you don t want to use none of the cookies we re gonna go we re gonna go straight in without any hesitation the egg tests she s like your eggs over medium over hard medium. It is here we go all right so we re gonna wow.
This thing came off it looks like it s okay so no nothing nothing stuck to the pan stuck to the spatula. Too. But yeah. No actually yeah look it s a little bit stuck there.
But i do have to say that for items such as eggs and some of the other things you need to have a little bit of oil. I think that we should retest it soon. But this is stuck think of this i mean it s easy to scrape off. But this egg is definitely gonna be over all right so i think i m done with this.
Yeah. Yeah definitely so how many stars do you give it for egg nog stickability. I think the eggs full for itself. But we re gonna do another test with a little bit of oil.
But for now. This is done so alright. Let s test number one test number one done. I guess the egg.
Didn t do so. Well you know cool test number two that s number two hearing a star. We go yeah. That s it so all right so let s see what happens now we have the sizzle.
This is supposed to not stick okay looks pretty good looks like it s actually not sticking. One thing that you do have to mention these items that are packaged. They do contain a small amount of fat so i m thinking that that s the reason why that didn t happen i want to test out the egg again with a little bit of a little bit of volume. We can try to move it as well okay so as you can see this thing just went straight in the turkey the turkey passed.
I think that s a pass what s a pass. I want to try the egg. We are gonna add this time a little bit of cooking spray so that alright just to see all right here. We go let s lay it down.
And i think we should stick with in the fat cooking surface you have the ridges because i think that s where it has all the nonstick material on it so let s see we re gonna give it a few seconds and see that what that eggs was kind of delicious and by the way. We are eating all these items. We re not wasting them no food will be wasted in the making of this video take half of this for now all right all right that looks pretty good all right. This is without cooking spray look so tip out.
And you put instructions and letting us know we should have used some oil. Yeah. Now said no this is nonstick. We go with nonstick all right so i think that s good over medium.
All right all right cool so put it in there all right here. We go so all right these eggs are done so this is sort of a dominican trifecta normally we like to have that as gold pin. If you know what a tell is gold pay is is usually a meat. She dairy.
A dairy and also eggs so right now here we have it all ready let s go all right there we go okay and the street cheese. Not stick to the non stick pan here we go you fell you re on the clock. All right see some little edges. There let s see oh i see the edges.
There oh so far yes. Well wow. Okay. That s pretty good all right okay.
Okay. She s just coming right off. We can just pour it right on here this one nothing s okay. Wow.
Feet. While you d be really good here. Wow. Oh wow you gonna do the other side.
Too. You know you gotta look at that you got some skills flippin cheese. If there you go anybody wanted me to make some cheese. I gotcha don t cut the cheese you know pass let s see no no no no no you just dump this straight here.
Let s see how it s gonna do okay here we go okay all right that looks pretty good all right so to clean. This you basically take a little bit of god that damp cloth or something like that some foam. So you don t get burned. And then you just wiped off sound and coming off and they did you did it looks pretty good.
I m actually not getting burned like the first video that i did i learned my lesson yeah. But you actually are burning my stuff right behind. It. See that oops.
See what you re doing yeah. There you go okay sorry all right. So that s pretty good so. I guess you know that s good for test number three.
We got one more little test so for you seafood lovers out there i m sure you guys enjoy a nice little shrimp. Okay so what we re gonna do now is we re gonna know a little bit of butter in there that s a lot you re putting. So much a lot of butter you know stop complaining about it all right cool here we go all right cool. So here we go that s a pretty much done so this should be done.
They re pretty much done so again. We just dump them right into the plate little shrimp scampi alex decided to you know throw down a few seconds second test the cleaning system process all right looks pretty good so this t file skillet set nonstick it s a good buy for three bikes for forty dollars. I think is a great buy because it s very simple very seamless. It does work well nonstick and then one of these that the red stayed on the on the pots.
Yeah they come open. We re not gonna burn always in yep. So i think. It s a it s a good buy it s a good buy so everyone this is it i m really happy with the t file.
I think they stood the test of time. Yeah. I mean the product is great and i performed it really did what do you think about those little red lines. You were a state with that i was afraid of them honestly.
But but it works and actually a novice like myself. It told me when to start cooking. Which is a great idea. I like that idea so thumbs up for people who don t know exactly when to throw something on the fire.
This led to you now exactly i d like like that that was pretty good what about the handle wouldn t think about it. The handle is pretty good you know kinda pretty well it got a little warm. But not to the point where i got to you know to get burned alright. So please remember to follow the instructions that the manufacturer gives you and they actually instructed that we what add a little bit of oil or this might be happening to you.
