‘s going on guys. Awesome angels here welcome back to a brand new video guys guys hope you’re having an awesome day in today’s video. I’m going be showing you guys how to change your epic games username in chapter 2 season 4 now as you guys can see it’s the marvel season.
We got thor and everyone right here i haven’t played that much of the season. That’s why i’m only level two. But if you guys are trying to change your epi games username you probably want to be on pc nintendo switch or mobile.
Because if you’re on xbox or playstation. As you can see my friend right here is on playstation. He has to change his playstation name.
And he also has to change his epic games. Name uh. Now you don’t have to change rapid games.
I don’t know why i said that but if you’re trying to change your main name right here. And you play an xbox or playstation. You need to change your console name so uh for example.
Yeah. Like him. He had to change his his console.
Name right here. This is his playstation name. He changed this so if he goes on let’s say he goes on forza for horizon.
4. He that same name is there that’s his whole console name.
So. It’s no different for fortnite. Every game has the same name right here.
So why would fortnite be any different. It’s not you also have this little epic games name here so that’s completely free to uh do change. But if you play on xbox or playstation.
You may you may have to change your name and it may cost money if you want to change it in fortnight. So make sure if you’re changing your console. Name the first time.
Because if you change it. The first time that it doesn’t cost money make sure. It’s like not a clan name.
It’s something that you will like keep your name like forever. Because if it’s like a console name and then you leave the clan. Then that’s really dumb.
But uh yeah. So you can still change your epic games name. So.
This video is still helpful. If you play on playstation and xbox uh. Because right here you can see i can like if if you want to change your like if you join the clan and you want to change your name like you have to change your name then a lot of my friends do here.
Let’s see if i can find an example for people that are in my clan. Because if you guys didn’t know my clan is called awesome.
And if you guys want to try out for that clan ma. Feel free to uh call me araby game’s username and i’ll make sure to add you but uh as you guys can see he is on xbox all these changes. All these names are different okay.
Now let me get rid of his uh username uh. His nickname really quick um. But yeah.
This is legend he plays on mobile. So as you guys just saw it was on mobile. So then right here uh that that was his mobile name so i’ll add a nickname again just so you guys can see uh.
Yeah. As you guys can see that’s his epic games. Name.
And he plays on mobile. So his epic game’s name is his same mobile name. So he doesn’t have to change that.
But he also plays on xbox. So if he wanted so if he went on xbox. His main name right here would be resh xbox.
It wouldn’t be awesome grizzly legend. But he’s in my clan. So yeah.

And yeah. Let’s get dive into right away how to change your every games. Username and fortnite.
So what you’re gonna have to do you can go to any browser extension. Anything you want uh. I use uh microsoft edge because it comes free with my uh pc.
So uh google cost no no it’s it’s free. But it costs space google cost me so first of what you’re gonna have to do you’re gonna go to epicgamescom and then you’re gonna click enter oh i i did it wrong i okay i spelt it wrong guys make sure. It’s epic games right here and then you go to com right here okay every games.
There has to be an s in the games. So yeah once you’re here you’re gonna have to sign in if you if you’re already signed in and your usernames are already up there then uh good for you uh. But yeah i’m gonna blur all this out so first up what you’re gonna have to do you’re just gonna have to do your email address right here.
Uh right right here. The top. One is your email address.
Then the password. If you forgot your password on the right hand corner on the password. I’m probably blurring all this out so you might not be able to see this but right here the password it says if you forgot your password.
It says forgot your password right here change it right here uh. You’re gonna have to put in your email. It’ll send you an email and all this stuff.
But change it right there uh so yeah i’m gonna log in really quick now you have to have to fee to do this but this isn’t too fade guys a lot of you guys were asking about this this isn’t too fa. This is to make sure that you’re a human because there’s a lot of bots that try to get in epic games and stuff like ais so this that was to make sure that you’re a human so if you’re if you have toofey and you just like a few days ago you put on uh you signed in to fortnite.
Then you don’t have to do the 2fa. If you did it the other day so you don’t have to do it every time. But uh yeah.
It’s most of the time so after you do that uh after you signed in you have to have 2fa to do this if you guys don’t know how to enable 2fa just search it up i have no clue no just kidding. I have a clue. But uh you’d get really cool you can gift and a bunch of stuff.
It’s really cool okay now i’ll blur all this out as well. But right here this okay so let me go back you go to account so uh. Let’s go back to the quick sorry about that you go to account first so you go to uh your you go to your username and you go down to account and then you should be under the general tab.
And it says account info id. All this stuff. And then you go to your display.
Name my display name is awesomeangels15 if you’re on xbox. This is definitely this is different and maybe different because your xbox name is different from your epic games name. But again you can still change this.
If you want so what you’re going to have to do you’re going to go to awesome angels 15. Go right here to the little pencil the if it’s a blue pencil. If it’s a blue pencil right here then you’re able to change your name.
But if you’ve changed your name in the last few weeks or you don’t have 2fa or anything like that or you’re not signed in make sure you’re signed in if you’re not signed in or any of that then uh you won’t let you it will have an x right here. And it won’t let you do that so if it’s blue then you’re fine. But if there’s an like this is in the x you have to go to the pencil.
If the pencils is there then uh yeah you that that that is where you will change your name and if it if just comment comment. If you have that problem and i’ll make sure to talk to you and get it all done yeah comment.
If you if you have any problems with this. But um also if you need to change your email address right here. I guess.
That’s right next to the display. Name if you like want to enable to fade. Like or something.
And you can’t do this. I’m pretty sure you have to do a 2fa to change this i’m not too sure though so what you’re gonna have to do you’re gonna go to the blue pencil like i said then you’re gonna go to uh awesome just change your name whenever you wanna change. It now this won’t work because i i know this username is taken.
But i whoever has this like can you please give it to me like please um. But yeah so that that’s what it you’re gonna change it right here uh okay. I’m really bad at typing right now okay so awesome angels whatever you want to change it to then you have to click.
I understand i cannot change my display name again for two weeks after this change you have to click that other it won’t work and then after you did all that you click press confirm and then if it’s incorrect then it might come back and tell you that it’s incorrect. So it should have changed right here. It should have changed it takes like a few hours.
Maybe one or two days whenever you have really laggy wi fi or something. But it should not take any time it shouldn’t take any uh like any issues. It shouldn’t take that long to do this so.
If you guys are wondering why it’s taking so long you might have done it wrong uh. I don’t know if i don’t know if you guys would have done that i’m not saying you guys are really bad at this. But a lot of people were asking me why it took so long either you played on playstation or xbox.
And it’s not your main name and it’s your other little name right here. Whenever you’re trying to invite them to the party or you did it wrong somehow so yeah.
Or you just have really slow wi fi you need to get that checked up.
