A a few weeks ago. I headed over to the epic game offices in the the uk and actually got to get hands on and uses brand new welcome. Everyone name’s ali and today.
I’m very excited to be sharing with the world. An exclusive look at a brand new feature coming to fortnight battle royale. I came out here to san francisco all the way from the uk to join epic games.
The developers of fortnight baths were out on stage to finish off their keynote with a huge huge announcement. It was an absolute honor. I had a load of fun doing it and i had to show you guys right here.
What was announced and what is gonna be coming soon to fortnight bath royale. Which is gonna be awesome some of you guys may have noticed this awesome fortnight llama tesha. I’ve got loads of spare epic games and fortnight merch and we’re sharing a load of you guys and giveaways soon to make sure you subscribe and make sure turned on notifications to the latest and greatest fortnight videos without further ado guys.

I headed over to the epic game offices in the uk and actually got to get hands on and use this brand new replay system for the very first time. And i have to say. It is amazing for the millions of content creators around the world.
Just like myself. It is going to allow us to improve and make even bigger and better content and even for the everyday fortnight players. It means as soon as the game is done they can jump back in and review that gameplay through the replay system to see what went wrong or what worked out on the road to that victory way out it’s amazing and in fact zeke.
I think we can show the guys right here the new replay system in action for the first time right. I think we can michael you want to help us out let’s do it so. What we’re looking at here is a actually replay that we recorded with zeke and ally we’re playing so let’s take a couple minutes and see if we can create a cool shine in the system.
Let’s do it so this is the brand new replay system. We can see the ui along the bottom. There’s tons of customization.
We can speed up and slow down the action and view the world a fortnight in a way that we’ve never seen it before imagine you’ve got an amazing expensive camera and you’re in the world. A fortnight you can customize everything so. Michael.
Here can change everything from aperture focal lengths. Manual focus all of that is available for you guys customized in this replay. Feature.
It’s absolutely amazing. This is actually me in game right now using my favorite skin the wukong skin it looks pretty damn awesome and actually as michael said. This is a gameplay shot that both zeke and i had in fatal fields.
It’s pretty action packed right. I think so you want to check it out a little bit let’s do it sure. This is a the rooftop battle.
You guys had with those guys they were set up cross away yes. This is awesome and i could actually turn on even more features here we’re going to be able to see the weapons that everyone is holding in game their health. Their shield all of the quick alarms you can get all of that information.
And even highlight any players and teammates as well so as this action is going down. We’re going to pan around the camera here and again c49 away. We’ve never seen it before this is the enemy team they set up pretty nicely in the house here in fatal fields and we’re trying to take them down from the barn across the way as we’re doing so zeke actually lands a nasty crossbow shot taking it on in the place.
That’s pretty good thanks man. I hit my shots sometimes and it was actually perfect and served really well and as my cool show here for me to rush across fatal fields and start a cheeky. Flank maneuver and try and go in behind the enemy team and catch them off guard.
Again this is using the drone follow a new camera tool within the replay system to view this something. We wouldn’t have been able to do before so. The teams have just raised up physique your job isn’t over yet because you need to distract them that’s right so i decided to try and give you some cover and things don’t quite go.
According to plan i start getting shot at and i think i actually almost get blown up twice yeah. It is close it is very hairy tasting damage. But let’s not forget i’m flanking around the back here.
And you’ve done your job to distract them and before they know it i’m actually in their base pull out my tac shotgun. Take out one take out two and we. Win that gunfight and as a result of a load of loot to share between both of us.
It was a great action piece that was pretty fun you know i’m more of a hand cannon guy myself. But the crossbow did put in work and ally. I think if i remember correctly we went on to win this game.
We probably dizzy that’s a story for another time having had a quick look at the replay system here myself. And the guys at the games. We actually worked together to put an amazing cinematic piece together just showing you an example of what you can create with this tool.
And i’m sure you guys really excited to see it for the first time so. Without further ado. Let’s take a look at that video right here.
