“And welcome to the first and arguably lamest episode of pimp my pc in this this episode. I m going to be showing you how to change the appearance of and the websites that you visit on it alright so keep in mind before we start all the links are in the description and the first thing we re going to do is grab a theme for chrome to change the appearance of chrome itself meaning the tabs in the window and everything else to link that output there will lead you to dark themes. But if you want all themes. You can just go ahead and click on this little link right here that says themes and you can get all of them and to install a theme you ll just click on it where it says add to chrome.
You ll click right there and as you ll see the appearance of your chrome will change and if you ever want to take your theme off of chrome like let s say you get sick of it you can go over to your chrome settings go to appearance and where it says themes you can hit reset to default..
And as you can see my chrome s back to normal the next thing. We re going to grab is an extension for chrome called stylish and to get it all you have to do is click on add to chrome after you click the link in the description and you ll see it pop up right over here. And what this does is allows you to change the appearance and layout of websites for example. I m going to show you how to use it right now we re going to go over to youtube and stylish is automatically able to recognize the website that we re on so when we click on it it ll give us options for different themes that we can install under library.
If you don t like any of these themes that they suggest you you can always click on find more themes or styles whatever..
It s called right under it and i ll bring you to a page and i ll work in the same exact way that you re seeing we do it here so instead. I m going to just go back to you youtube open up stylish. And what i m going to do is install this theme. Right here.
So all you have to do to install theme is click install and as you can see the appearance of my youtube change..
Let s say you don t like the theme. You ve picked you can always go to your installed section right here and you ll see all the themes that you have active when it says activate that means you can activate it by clicking. It is not activated currently and right now i m going to scroll all the way down to the bottom find the one i just activate it and deactivate it so if you ever want your youtube back to normal. You can have it just like that you can also customize the playbar and a bunch of other things stylish is really awesome application it works on a bunch of different websites.
Not just youtube..
